The film is about a woman from a rural area and works in a small restaurant as a cleaner with very low pay. As she has to support her family (mother and daughter), she has no money for herself for better makeup or dress up. She has low esteem. She later was fired by the boss. Because of no money and no home, she goes to the massage parlor and works there a sex worker. It happens that the first customer is the chef of previous restaurant. She has admired him for a while. In this first sex exchange, she is well satisfied both emotionally as well as economically. She starts sex work this way and becomes more confident.

River Straying

A man who was hiding for 7 years to avoid creditors has embarked on his journey home because of the death of his mother. On the way back home, the childhood memories stroke him constantly just like dreams. In search of a notebook full of poems written for his ex-wife, he went to the former factory to find an old friend. Elsewhere in the city, three senior students are talking about their future plans. This future product will replace people's worship and spiritual sustentation of the power of gods and Buddhas in religion with technology, turning the invisible into visible. This paper probes into the possibility and influence of the deification of technology in the future, and puts forward the solution of "love, nostalgia and nature" to relieve the pain caused by the excessive intervention of technology.

The Fog Has Covered The Moment Again

The core of the work is to explore and experiment the viewing mechanism of the image. Try to recreate the third space with the characteristic of "halo" through images. The halo points to ambiguity and a sense of distance, while the third space is the difference space constructed by reality and consciousness. The work uses fragments of daily life and poetic non-linear narrative as two narrative means, interspersing and advancing the narrative, which corresponds to the two viewing states of the audience, namely reverie and trance, and hopes to connect the audience with the image in the form of flowing water.

Xue's Investigation

Jiang Xue, a well-known investigative journalist, began an in-depth investigation into the political injustice that happened in his hometown nearly half a century ago. "Xue‘s investigation" was one of Jiang Xue's main self-media at the time, but it was suspended in a short period of time because of the depth and sharpness of the work and the courage to reveal the truth of the incident. During the filming by Jiang Xue, the video version of "Snow Visit" produced by Tiger Temple was only made in the first phase of the film and one person (Xiang Chengjian) died prematurely, making it a precious historical film.

South Street

Since 2007, the director of this film has initiated and participated in charity activities for the relief of the refugees in Tiananmen Square. The main line of the film is the director and Japanese friendly people who visited the refugees in Nanxiao Street, Beijing, where they lived in 2014, and tracked the scene of their livelihood on Tiananmen Square. The film was edited in combination with the old video materials shot by the director for eight years.

Turn Around

The film tells about an artist named Banpo, who suddenly returned to Songzhuang one day in 2019, silently packed hundreds of his paintings, packed his luggage, attended the worship service, watched an exhibition, and then said goodbye to his old friends. Finally, he completely left the story of Songzhuang in a quiet early morning. This story seems to be during the process of documenting artist Banpo moving out，the director reveal a huge change in the environment the artist lived in. As if the artist Banpo has foreseen the turmoil of 2020(as Coronavirus epidemic spreading across the world, a massive demolition began at Songzhuang Art District. Many artists, like Banpo, have left Songzhuang. The small town once was famous for Chinese contemporary art 20 years ago, is now gone.)

The bank's collection and the finance company used threats and intimidation to collect debts. Sanhe has since fallen into the hell of "using cards to raise cards". An Ling is a successful writer of romance novels. What is unknown is that all of her novels were written by her deceased mother but published under her name. The publisher urged her to write her seventh novel, but she had no romantic relationship before and was not good at writing. When she was involved in a production, she met an actor, Zheng Yuan, and had an affair with him. An Ling got what she wanted, but she didn’t know how to handle the conflicting feelings she had deep inside. The story was inspired by something that happened in the intoxicatingly beautiful spring of 2016. This was my last film during my undergraduate years. I always wanted it to be completely engraved with my personal imprint and represent all my style preferences. So then I began to construct the story, a proud but timid woman with secrets in her heart and a group of hilarious mundane people, what would happen to them in a mountain forest surrounded by mist and fog…

ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS OF LIFE

In Southern Beijing, a father and his son who relied on each other were struggling to live, and two daughters wanted to seize their father's retirement expenses for their own personal gain. And misfortunes came one after another. The 60-year-old demented son was deliberately abandoned by his brother-in-law, and the young tenant went astray for so-called love. Life was getting tougher. In the constant struggles, the 90-year-old father felt hard to bear the burden of life, and wanted to end his life with pesticides with his son. The film ends here and leaves the suspense, in which the cold-bloodedness and fetters of kinship are vividly displayed. The feeling of powerlessness goes straight to the hearts through screen. Two people’s lifetime adding up to 150 years come to an abrupt end.
