Godard by Godard is an archival self-portrait of Jean-Luc Godard. It retraces the unique and unheard-of path, made up of sudden detours and dramatic returns, of a filmmaker who never looks back on his past, never makes the same film twice, and tirelessly pursues his research, in a truly inexhaustible diversity of inspiration. Through Godard’s words, his gaze and his work, the film tells the story of a life of cinema; that of a man who will always demand a lot of himself and his art, to the point of merging with it.

A Song of Life and Love

An experimental visual adaptation of selected poetry written by Salomėja Nėris, Eduardas Mieželaitis, Algimantas Baltakis, Janina Degtutytė, and Justinas Marcinkevičius. Accompanied by the art of Stasys Krasauskas and narrated by Rūta Staliliūnaitė, A Song of Life and Love attempts to capture the city of Vilnius and its surroundings while documenting regular people and places in an attempt to memorialise the ordinary.

EstrAtti (Passages)

EstrAtti (Passages) is a docufilm that alternates five excerpts from poems, songs, and adapted texts by the following authors: Gianni Rodari (The Sky Belongs to Everyone), Omar Khayyam (the Persian poet who composed a series of poems, including Rubaiyat No. 2), David Bowie (lyrics from Quicksand), Jorge Luis Borges (excerpt from The Aleph), Alejandro Jodorowsky.

Les Baies d'Alger

In an extended panoramic view—an "audioscopy" of Algiers—the camera’s eye scrutinizes various buildings and city-center neighborhoods with an intimate approach. "I want to show Algerian society’s openness to the world and to modern means... as well as its contradictions regarding tradition." One might think that filming is merely about capturing images; yet for Hassen Ferhani, filming is first and foremost about welcoming presences—allowing the world to emerge with all its density, fragility, and silences. He does not frame to confine, but to liberate; he frames to offer a space where people, gestures, and voices can find their true rhythm. This kind of cinema dictates nothing: it stands back—attentive and open—allowing itself to be surprised by the most unpredictable aspects of reality, and it is in this act of letting go that beauty is born.

During an audio message sent to his daughter, a father reflects on how the recent discovery of dusty reels and scratchy VHS tapes capturing childhood moments has propelled him on a journey of ancient memories and forgotten dreams . Using a blend of personal, public domain, and freely available footage, the film deconstructs reality and reimagines the past, questioning where memory ends and imagination begins.

Childhood memories of the author's life using images of dance performances with music from a genre she discovered in her adolescence. Both marked her formative years in different ways. By replacing the original sound with the music she began listening to in her adolescence and which had a great influence on the construction of her personal identity, the author seeks to transform the memory of traumatic times of rivalry and body shaming between girls, which in some way affects her to this day.
