Rose of Nevada

When a fishing boat, the Rose of Nevada, lost with all hands 30 years ago, mysteriously reappears in the old harbour of a forgotten Cornish village, for those who remember, it’s surely a sign. The boat must go out to sea again and maybe then the luck of the devastated village will turn. Young father Nick and enigmatic newcomer Liam join captain Murgey, and they head to sea. But when they return, satisfied with their haul, something is amiss – they’ve slipped back in time, and the villagers greet them as if they are the original crew.

Anthology 37

After a troubled young man leaves his friend for dead, he retreats to his mother's house where he watches a collection of old videos called Anthology 37. Lines blur between fiction and documentary and dream-like states as his guilt reaches its breaking point. Shot between 2013 and 2023.

Herkules

Hercules travels by bicycle from Krefeld on the Lower Rhine to Olympus, the throne of ancient deities. The Hercules myth, as a primal myth of male power, is questioned through biographical reflections and the staging of mythological echoes. The dramaturgical structure of the hero's journey disintegrates in a multi-material perspective into questions about male identity, ideals and remorse.

The Bet

In this 16 mm feature film, the journalist Miguel Salguero portrays the adventures of a group of people who make a bet and undertake a risky trip by land to Puerto Limón, crossing mighty rivers and wild nature, at a time when there was no road to the Caribbean port.

Forced to confront the darkest moment in his life, he mines fractured and repressed memories for a way out. A woman is at the center of all the writer’s afterlife encounters. She is the subject of his life’s greatest regret, and she materializes everywhere in this Otherworld. The writer cannot detach any thoughts of his life from her.

Dernier Péché

In an unsettling context, a dark event is looming: the night of the purge. The country is plunged into uncertainty and fear, politics seems to be nothing but a mirror of lies and betrayal, while the people's riots become incessant. Given this alarming situation, a group of friends, aided by an anonymous informant, decide to leave the city of Tours and seek refuge in a peaceful, remote village. This experimental short film is based on a horrific project produced in September 2023 by a team of 10 people.
