Snow on a Green Field
The conflict between the young school teacher Studentsov and the head teacher Lukyanova divided the residents of the village of Zhukovka into two parts. The eighth graders supported their teacher, who was genuinely worried not so much about the fate of each pupil as for the future of the hopeless village.
