Beyond the Sierras

An undercover U.S. agent in California adopts the persona of the "Masked Stranger" to protect wealthy Spanish families from corrupt land-thieves. When a ruthless land-grabber named Owens assassinates landowner Don Carlos for his gold-rich estate, Carlos’s sister, Rosa, blames the masked agent for the tragedy. Unable to reveal his identity, the agent must maintain his disguise to defeat Owens, clear his name, and reclaim Rosa's stolen heritage.
