A devout Christian pastor fails in his main tasks, losing the only opportunity to have a family, failing to evangelize and failing as a leader of the community and his disciples. His failure plunges him into deep despair, questioning his faith and the meaning of his life. Which leads him to reject the values established by the church, creating his own values and his own way of living, sinking into his own misery and depression.
