Paris De Noche

Sagan Lockhart's Paris De Noche is an innovative skate film blending vibrant cityscapes with a unique artistic vision. Filmed across urban hubs like Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and Paris, the project reimagines traditional skate video aesthetics by pairing stunning cinematography with an original score. The music, crafted by Alex Sowinski of BADBADNOTGOOD under his Group Climate moniker, evokes vintage influences, creating a cohesive audio-visual experience reminiscent of classic skate films while pushing boundaries. The film, directed by Naquan Rollings and produced by Lockhart, stars a talented ensemble of skaters including Jahmir Brown and Carlisle Aikens. It debuted alongside a viewing/listening event at Los Angeles’ HVW8 Gallery, emphasizing Lockhart’s role as both a storyteller and cultural curator​.

Honorable Skate

For more than 20 years, skaters from Asunción have been demanding from the authorities, without being heard, a public space where they can practice the sport. “Honorable Skate” is a cry of struggle. A request that became a demand. It is our way of saying that we are here and we will continue to be here. A wish that we want to come true, not for ourselves, but for the little ones. It is a tribute to the effort of all skaters who, throughout decades of self-management and dedication to a sport that is now Olympic, despite the falls always got back up.

Costa Rica Banana Republic

This film was originally made for the International Conference on Human Settlements (HABITAT) which was held in Vancouver, Canada. Taking as an example the production and marketing of bananas and the prevailing conditions in the world market - dominated by the virtual monopoly of three multinational companies -, it is shown how as a result of this monopolistic domination, the Costa Rican State has stopped receiving equitable taxes for what that, in the end, the housing and public services offered by the country are characterized as those of an underdeveloped society. The attempt made since 1974 by a group of banana-producing countries, aimed at improving sales prices to multinationals and raising taxes; The resulting “banana war” are examples of the enormous efforts that small banana countries have to make to achieve greater justice in the prevailing market conditions.
