MSSM

Maurizio Sacripanti’s prefab school, designed in 1969 for the town of Molfetta, turns into a deafening film. An animated interpretation of a section of the building: holes, panels and layers of the project transform into a mechanical rhythm, but the sound of a bell alters the logic of the system.

VivaCity

After an exhausting day, Clarice, a young black woman, is robbed and then harassed by the police, mistakenly accusing her of doing graffiti. Dazed with a mix of feelings of anger, tiredness, and injustice, Clarice in fact starts tagging the walls and the impossible happens: all of the graffiti around her comes to life right beyond her eyes.

A Bicycle Trip

It's the story of a double trip. A physical journey, the one in which the chemist Albert Hoffman really took his bicycle to go back home in the 1943's spring under the effects of an unknown substance he was testing (lysergic acid diethylamide, better known as Lsd). But it's also the symbolical journey, inside the scientist's mind, representing the feelings he may have felt. Our bet is to narrate this event researching new images, creating our own version of a '40s styled psychedelia.

70-year-old Timo makes the most of his short ride to work. Speeding up on a bicycle ends up in a ditch, but the adrenaline rush leaves a feeling of pleasure.

Fantastic Planet

On the planet Ygam, the Draags, extremely technologically and spiritually advanced blue humanoids, consider the tiny Oms, human beings descendants of Terra's inhabitants, as ignorant animals. Those who live in slavery are treated as simple pets and used to entertain Draag children; those who live hidden in the hostile wilderness of the planet are periodically hunted and ruthlessly slaughtered as if they were vermin.

Apocalypsis

Set in a parallel universe entering a black hole, a woman reading the book of Revelation has visions of regeneration during Anthropocene.

This original adaptation of Oscar Wilde's sad, socially conscious fairy tale, The Happy Prince, hinges on the conflict between fact and dream, reality and poetry. The contrast is reinforced by the film's visuals, confronting modern art with Gustave Doré's old engravings.
