In the shadow of the First World War, the genocide of the Christian Assyrians took place almost unnoticed by the world public. This first systematic genocide of the 20th century was committed by the Young Turks (Ottoman Empire) and would not have been possible without the support of some Kurdish local rulers and their family clans. The Assyrians are the indigenous people of Mesopotamia and have lived in Mesopotamia for thousands of years. The film includes testimony from several European, Turkish and Assyrian historians, as well as genocide researchers, including Professor Taner Akcam, Dr. Gabriele Yonan and Professor David Gaunt. The film includes testimony from survivors of the genocide. Various journalists and publicists also have their say with well-researched information in this documentary. The Assyrians refer to the Genocide as "Seyfo" (ܣܝܦܐ), which translates as "sword".

"Still Warm" follows one day in the life of Hito, who runs Umah, an independent coffee shop on Nanchang Road, one of 64 streets in Shanghai that has never been widened. From first light to last, the film moves outward in expanding circles: from his hands at the first morning pour-over, to the alley, to the neighbourhood, to a century of exchange between East and West, and then folds quietly back to where it began. A city learns to metabolize something foreign. A man learns that what he makes only fully exists when given away. These two arcs, one intimate and one historical, turn out to be the same arc. The film follows two mountain enthusiasts, battling through a glacier area in the Swiss mountains. The mountaineers are two very prominent skiers at the time, Hannes Schneider and Ilse Rohde, who climb the Lyskamm. Arnold Fanck's film production company (Berg und Sportfilm GmbH) was acquired in 1925 by the UFA, whose cultural department reedited the film into a short and sound version in 1940 with the music of Giuseppe Becce.
