Racing for Paralympic Gold

"Racing for Paralympic Gold" is an intimate and inspiring portrait of three unstoppable women on the road to Paralympic greatness, each redefining what strength truly means. Gabrielle “Gabby” Platt, a single mother who survived being shot three times, rides to inspire her young son with every push of the pedal. Ryen Reed, born with cerebral palsy, defies medical expectations as she pushes her body beyond its limits in pursuit of a place at the LA 2028 Paralympic Games. Oksana Masters, born in Ukraine with birth defects linked to the Chernobyl disaster, transforms profound hardship into triumph as a multiple time Paralympic gold medalist. Guiding them is Carlos Moleda, a Brazilian born former Navy SEAL who turned his own catastrophic injury into purpose by becoming a champion of adaptive athletics. Together, they train with relentless intensity, pushing past pain, trauma, and stigma - not just to win medals, but to redefine what resilience looks like.

Le Tour de France 2000

By adding his name to the list of Tour winners in 1999, Lance Armstrong had overcome adversity and earned the admiration of all. By winning again in 2000, the champion took on a whole new dimension. This time, all the greats were there. Like the others, Ullrich, winner in 1997, and Pantani, winner in 1998, had to admit the superiority of the American, who won one of the most spectacular Tours in recent years. An exceptional winner, a race full of action... All the ingredients were there to write some of the most beautiful pages in the history of the Tour...

Dictionnaire amoureux du Tour de France

Combining the author's poetic voice with those of Bernard Hinault, Antoine de Caunes, and Daniel Mangeas, the film offers a passionate journey into the heart of the history and imagination of the Tour. It captures the spirit of the great epics, the Anquetil-Poulidor duel, Yvette Horner's accordion, the popular fervor, but also the physical and spectacular reality of the dangers of racing. Women's cycling plays an important role thanks to the testimony of Cédrine Kerbaol. The contemporary scene is represented by cyclist Guillaume Martin.
