The chance of a lifetime comes when he is invited to attend archaeologist Sara Lavrof's presentation of her latest discovery - the papyrus that proves the existence of the Necklace of Midas, the legendary King who turned everything he touched into solid gold.

These are classical figures, anatomical figures, fairy tale figures and romantic figures all thrown in together - all my creative root-sources, in a kind of playful tribute. Like part 2 of Duo Concertantes, it's a moving single picture, now doubled.

Chicory 'n' Coffee

The story turns on a small deception - since they were married, instead of the real thing, the wife has always made Chicory (a cheap substitute for Coffee) for her husband. He never catches on to the deception. For him, the slush tastes better than the best Coffee.
