An old oak tree made a remark to him: is it possible? On this insolent Makarka boldly said that nothing terrible. Then the angry trees and birds decided to teach the unfit boy a lesson, and something like that started, from which the bully reluctantly had to think and ask for forgiveness.

The Painted Fox

Cartoon based on the Ukrainian fairy tale of the same name by Ivan Franko. A fearsome beast arrived in the forest to impose its order in it and called Ostromysl. His formidable appearance frightened all the forest animals, and even Mikhail Potapych himself. When Ostromysl fell into the river and the paint was washed away by the water, the animals were convinced that it was just an ordinary fox. The rascal was chased out of the forest. The movie ends with Hedgehog's admonition: "Whatever the beast looks like, don't take his word for it!“

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Fracture

Fracture (1977) is a short animated film from France by the Brizzi Brothers (Paul and Gaëtan), a duo better known for their work on feature-length animated films such as Asterix versus Caesar (1985), and a number of films for Disney. Fracture is their earliest work, and isn’t remotely Disney-like, delivering an SF / fantasy scenario of alien inexplicabilities that makes it an animated counterpart of the comic strips that were running in Métal Hurlant (and its US counterpart, Heavy Metal) in the late 1970s.

The Man Who Walked Between the Towers
