Yuko seeks to kill the creator of the dimension to end the suffering of it's people. Yuko meets Kazumi, who claims not to be from Earth, at a rock concert, and they become instant friends. Yuko invites her new friend to come live with her. However, onces Kazumi gets to Yuko's apartment, she leaves through the wall with her trusty cybernetic steed and into another dimension to face evil.

Leon is night fishing on the bayou, catching fireflies in a jar under a big round orange moon - it's that kind of a film - when the light dims and he tells his pet chipmunk, "Somethin's up, Earl." Sure is - a massive catfish made out of the stars transports him, pet and inflatable, on a theme park ride to the moon where he teams up with a genuine Moongirl and giant protective cat. Mission? To reignite the moon (his jar of delights is important here) and help defend her from a pair of rascally Gargaloons.

The two good friends quarreled. It suddenly rained heavily in a thunderstorm, and short tail was washed down a waterfall to the bottom of a ravine. Long ear tried to find short tail and finally rescued him from the moat. In the end both are good friends again.
