Mostly animated with live-action segments featured throughout, FIDELITY is a comedic drama featuring Dora, a woman in her mid-30s who finds herself stuck in a loveless marriage and stumbling into an affair with another man.

What's Going On?

​The audience is taken through a range of years through archival footage exploring the ups and downs of our lives and the thing that connects us all, love. Seven interview subjects: a philosophy professor, a film professor, a humanities professor, a retired lawyer turned archivist, a volunteer, a dance student, and a fashion student, explore their backgrounds with religion, their current personal philosophies, whether or not they believe we have a purpose, or if the things we do have any meaning at all. Eventually everything wraps back around to love.

Earth Hum

In a conversation with Martin, we learn a little bit more about her art told through her own voice and drawings as well as the ethereal presence of friends and old Super 8 footage. Like Martin says, in art, you see that there are magical things happening but it is really very human.

Walter Spies acts as a figure who will receive this love letter from Bali Island. Walter Spies' impact on Bali tourism was like two sides of a coin, contradict each other between the good and the bad. Bali Island is lost to an abandoned premise with Spies' death, make her need to face this exploitation alone. She needs to survive the torture due to touristic commercialization.
