In a low-income neighborhood in Maracaibo, Julio plays "La Olla" with some children. His mother calls him into her house, causing him to suffer the penance of gambling. At home his stepfather reprimands him violently. Julio, tired of being a victim, makes the decision to be like those who beat him.
